Just wanted to drop a quick note to officially announce that there is now a "media gallery" feature on DoggyBloggy.  You can create a media gallery much like you create a "photo gallery."  Simply login and click on "Your Files" in the admin bar up top.  Here you can create a new folder selecting the folder type "media gallery."  In this folder you can upload various media files, including the standard image types (jpg, png, gif) but also video media in the .flv, .swf, and .mp3 formats.  I hope to include other media types, like .wmv, .ram, etc. in the future, but this is a start.

If you want to make the media file available for download, you can post a link to it in a blog, as you do when you want to post a picture from your file folders.  In other words, you use the "embed a file from your file storage" feature on the blog submit page.
